简介

BrokeDown Cadillac is a 5-piece modern country band fronted by Atlanta native, Corri English, and her counterpart, Randy Dunham. The seeds for Brokedown Cadillac were planted three years ago on a rainy night in March, when L.A. newcomer Corri walked into the Burbank Bar and Grille and discovered Randy performing in his resident acoustic duo, Radio Flyer. Two drinks later, Corri was onstage singing Pink's "Just Like a Pill," and cementing her place in Randy's head as his next potential partner. Sure enough, when the other half of his duo landed a place on a Broadway tour, Randy called Corri to join him. She accepted. While performing every Saturday night together, the two quickly discovered their mutual connection to country music and began writing songs over the next year and a half for their own original country music project. Satisfied they had found their "sound," Corri and Randy ventured to Atlanta, Georgia to commission famed vocal producer, Jan Smith, to produce their four song E.P. Corri and Randy have written over two dozen songs for this project, five of which have recently been used in the upcoming Disney film, "Race to Witch Mountain," starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and directed by Andy Fickman. The two, joined by their backing band, were also included in a performance sequence of the movie, playing in a honky-tonk bar. In addition, two of the bands songs will be featured in the CW's new hour-long dramedy "Valentine." The band has recently been nominated for a Hollywood Music Award for best country song. The band, a tight collection of seasoned players, rarely offer people a chance to sit down, with their string of upbeat, toe-tapping numbers commandeering fans to the dance floor. They are currently playing local LA clubs, along with upcoming shows in Bakersfield, Palmdale, San Diego, and Orange County.
