Slayton has been performing his own unique brand of stand-up comedy for over 30 years, and is truly regarded as a "comic's Comic. He has been seen on dozens of television show as well as major motion pictures such as DreamGirls, Get Shorty, Wayne's World, and Ed Wood. He appeared along with Ray Liotta, Joe Montegna and Don Cheadle in HBO's film the Rat Pack, as Joey Bishop.
