Luke Austin is an Alternative artist hailing from Toronto, Canada. Drawing on his love of and inspiration from musicians like Bruce Springsteen, Kings Of Leon, and The Killers, Luke creates a unique blend of era-spanning instrumentals with honest, nostalgic lyricism.

Having played acclaimed shows, with several stops at NXNE and CMW over the past several years, partnerships with VIA Rail, Jim Beam, and soon with several charitable foundations, including: Breakfast Club Kids of Canada and the Canadian Concussion Project; Luke Austin has developed a stage presence that channels his strong lyricism and musical sensibilities in a wholly individual sense.Luke found his way to the mic and stage by way of a love of music and a desire to express himself. "I have always felt like I was best at manifesting my feelings and thoughts through writing songs […] My goal as a writer and performer is to connect with people and to write songs that are honest and real.” A couple of heavy hitters on both sides of the CAN-AM border heard that in Luke’s music and were eager to help the young musician.

Luke’s been privileged to round out his sound thanks to some of the most revered and successful producers and engineers in the music industry. Luke has honed his artistry, working with Alex Bonefant (July Talk, Crystal Castles, K-OS, Rich Aucoin) and Vance Powell (Kings of Leon, Jack White), while currently recording with John Angus MacDonald (The Trews, Joel Plaskett.)

Luke is currently writing and recording new music while touring through the summer.
