简介
Paul Guzzone songwriter, producer and Bacon Brothers bassist follows up his 2013 release "Chasing the Moon" with a year-long project of new tunes. It all started when he challenged himself to record a song each month in 2015. Mission accomplished (so far). Now what? Well, like most people, Paul suffers from an incurable case of impatience brought on by the worldwide cybermania epidemic. So, there’s no way he could wait until all the songs are finished and release them together on what would have been called an “album” back in the olden days. So, his approach is to release three songs at a time on four mini-EP’s throughout the year. Announcing the first in the series, "3 in 1.1," featuring: • “Everytime I Look at You” – a buoyant and jangly pop love song as the opening single; • “Dance While I Can” – a grooving reminder to seize the day, already popular among fans of Paul’s live shows; • “Last Night in Vegas” – a dark and driving rocker about a weirdly memorable night that could easily be a Coen Brothers movie. Try ‘em all. They’re equally great as individual listens, or as a set. As for the content and style of the upcoming editions, who knows? It’s off into the great unknown … Reviewer Praise for Paul’s previous CD, "Chasing the Moon": “New York based Paul Guzzone describes himself as ‘an electronic troubadour.’ He’s big on sonic textures, wry narratives, catchy hooks and songs that draw you in. ‘Chasing the Moon’ is an unlikely but successful meeting of a singer-songwriter with one foot in roots rock and the other in electronic production. At heart he’s a romantic confessional songwriter with an eye for commercial pop, refracted through contemporary production values on intricately crafted, subtly layered and beautifully sung material. Everything is delicately balanced and shaped to its full potential without losing its essence ….” – Pete Feenstra, Get Ready to Rock, UK For more about Paul and his music visit: www.paulguzzone.com
