Local Papua New Guinea producer/artist 'Steven M' and former band member of Naahorauu, Tevaaru, team up to record this explosive urban pacific dance orientated song 'Tamahine Nukutoa'. The song itself is sung in a local language of the islands of Takuu (Nukutoa Islands) of which both recording artists originate from. Nukutoa is located on the outskirt sea borders of the country of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The song reflects the ever-changing style of PNG and South Pacific music while continuing to solidify the fast growing Urban Pacific music genre.

Steven M is formally of the Papua New Guinea duo group Gravity. Gravity, popularly known for their PNG hit song 'Beer Garden', 'Paradise Sun' and 'Sankamap' made their last appearance with South Pacific's own Justin Wellington in 2010 with the hit song 'Reminiscin'. In 'Tamahine Nukutoa', both Steven M and Tevaaru probe onto new ground with a fresh fusion of Polynesian and modernize urban synthesizers to bring this brand new unique song.
