The new album, Perlas, contains eleven songs co-produced with Juan Pablo Lazo between 2006 and 2007 in Buenos Aires and Los Angeles. The new work includes over a dozen musicians from Argentina, France, Switzerland, and the USA. The vocals are accompanied by a great mix of South American percussion, jazzy horns, flamenco guitar, bossa nova elements, and laid-back pop concoctions. Laura’s smooth and sincere voice is full of vitality and harmony. The music contains a rich ambiance of Latin flair, sensual vocals, and delicate instrumentation that is very relaxing overall.
