简介
About the album: As I've said, Take//Intake was written between June 2015 with Cutting It Close - just a couple weeks ago when I composed the title track. If I were to describe the overall direction I would call this progressive electronic music. The tracks kind of serve as documentation of techniques I was learning as I developed an understanding of composing this kind of music; for myself anyway. Hopefully those of you who hear the music hear it as a coherent collection of tracks. The album contains elements of IDM, house, ambient, trip-hop— things of this nature while keeping in mind the methods of composition and production of much of the synth based music I have listened to for the past 4 years. Thank you to those who have already shown their support for this project, I really appreciate it. This being said, I am now shifting the focus I have given Take//Intake as of recent to the upcoming As Everyone release with my friend Pablo Díaz Fanjul. To sum up it's direction I would also consider it progressive / experimental electronic music, however I believe it has more of a contemporary direction including elements of hip hop and synthpop. It is 10 steps ahead of where we left you with Between Here And Away. The album features Kinetic 9 of Killarmy on two tracks and Rita Gilpatric— who we have already prefaced with the teaser of our collaborative song Red Dot. We are very happy with how the music has turned out up to this point and will have more information and music to share with you soon. Aside from all of this I also intend to release two other collections of music later this year. Both being more "rock" oriented. These include the previously mentioned cowrite project with Clint Lowery and a release including some of the original songs I posted on my YouTube channel last year. I look forward to sharing this music with you all. Thank you!
