With the release of “The Best Is Yet To Come” LP, Keith Egan brings a unique array of pop styles to the table. Lush with smooth progressions, an edgy but soulful vocal approach, and jazz undertones, the record boasts the aesthetic of indie pop anthems. Though the songs are diverse from one another, there is a glue that holds it all together much like a concept album would. Most importantly, the record never loses sight of the emotional platform great songs are built from. The first single, “Can’t Stop”, grabs you with an immediately addictive groove and doesn’t let go. Complete with a straightforward lyrical approach, loads of vocal hooks, and a heavy pop sensibility, the song seems to breathe and build as it plays on. “The song is about just finding that girl one night that you can’t get over for that whole time and the days after. It’s like finding someone who takes your mind off all negativity for a while and you just live in that world of the time you spent together. It was a song I came up to the hook with just randomly one day and ran with the catchy vibe it had.” explains the songwriter of his single.
