This recording project has been a dream come true because I’ve been able to record some of the music I love. It’s a mixture of some really great standards, along with some original songs written by Leigh Crizoe and Eugene Orland. The original songs have the classic feeling of the American songbook, hopefully to become a part of the expanded American Songbook. I’ve been a fan of so many jazz singers and musicians over the years that have influenced my love and passion for music. Working with the talented musicians on this project was exciting and gave me a special feeling. I hope you enjoy this EP and get that special feeling too. I look forward to completing another six songs in the near future and re-releasing Sunshine Girl as a full LP.
