Freedem was gathered in February of 2007. Based from the South Bay/Harbor Area of Southern California, the band is brought together by three Samoans and two Hawaiians. They blend a unique sound in Roots Reggae Music. Not to mention that they can also ring the ears towards the lovers rock as well. Freedem writes their music by piecing all the elements of different genres of music that they grew up with. With members Ata, Peni, Mei, Preston, and Kaai, their music brings good vibes into the people. Freedem has shared stages with big bands such as Midnite, Pato Banton and Tippa Irie, Humble Soul, Ooklah the Moc, Inna Vision, Jah Roots, and many more. In September of 2010, they currently released their first CD "FREEDEM".
