T.C. Waters is a young man with a sense of mission. At age 37, he has spent most of the last 2 years campaigning for the music he loves: the quality popular songs of the great jazz artists who wrote, played and sang them; i.e., Gershwin, Porter, Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, etc. LPs by such rock-associated performers as Linda Ronstadt and Tony Tennille are a step in the right direction.
