One of the most enduring and interesting genres in the USA is still somewhat of a mystery to the majority of music listeners in the UK, yet without realising it, we all probably know and enjoy some of the better known exponents, from Bob Dylan through Jackson Browne to Wilco and Ryan Adams. That genre is Americana, or alt-country as it is sometimes known - and in Kent, England there's a band called Mashville that is trail blazing it's way through the music scene across the UK with some of the finest live music around. This is the follow up album to Door To Texas (2014) and marks an evolution in the band's progress.
