简介
"My love for music unfolded in Jerusalem whereI grew up. In my family, music was always an integral part of daily life. From my early childhood I remember my home full of music. My parents played and taught flute, my sister was practicing piano and bass and my brother played violin and guitar. I was attracted to music from an early age." Daniel studied classical piano at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, with the head of the Conservatory, Larisa Baikin and later with Shoshana Cohen. During these years Daniel studied composition, improvisation and chamber music. He studied Jazz piano with Daniel Ran, Omri Mor, Itai Rosenbaum and Slava Ganelin and participated in workshops with Larry Grenadier, Peter Berenstein, Jeff Balard and Avishai Cohen. During his army service in Israel, Daniel served as the pianist and arranger of the "Southern Army Band" where he experienced working with singers and was exposed to Israeli music. "It was during this period that I fell in love with Hebrew poetry and started composing to poems by Bialik, Rachel, Zelda... as well as composing my own lyrics". During this period Daniel founded his own band that performed his original music. In recent years Daniel started to explore music therapy, as well as performing in Jazz concerts and festivals with Eli Degibri, Anat Cohen, Hagai Cohen-Milo, Avri Borochov, Yael Dekelbaum, Michal Baranski, Dima Gorelik. and Ehud Ettun.
