This conscious emcee has been in the game now for 9 years strong. Now at 24, this fire spitting native of the Midwest is ready to make his arrival complete. In the era of the influence of commercial artistry MilkDrop is a throwback to the forms involved and used in original hip hop. Many things in life motivate MilkDrop currently including his wife of a year. With this major change his lyrical content is now a more defined mix of his passions and his experience in life as a new husband and father. This ambitious wordsmith already has hit the streets with 6 mixtapes over a 4 year stretch from 2001-2004 selling over 1500 copies locally and via the internet. He also has been included on Global Hip Hop Records figurehead group Regenerated Headpiece's well reknowned sophomore effort 'Dogfight'.The future became brighter as MD became the last piece of the puzzle and then newest member of the high rising Soul Providers crew in 2005. He then recorded 'The Entrance Exam' Ep, a collaborative effort with fellow Soul Provider Reach which helped to create an enormous buzz for Milk. It totaled 400 sales in just a small period of time. The lastest release to include MilkDrop was his feature on D. Will's solo effort 'The Oh No' Mixtape Vol. 1. 2007 will bring a flurry of content including MilkDrop. First will be a self arranged mixtape tentatively entitled 'MilkDrop Presents: Hidden Prescriptions' Mixtape Vol. 1, followed by a collaborative effort with fellow Soul Provider affilliate D. Will in his sophomore effort 'The Graduation Speech' Ep. Milk doesn't stray far away from a winning formula as his running mate D. Will play host to the mixtape. This mixtape will include the finest that the Kansas City area has to offer, and should be out by Spring of 2007. Also in 2007, MilkDrop will begin recording on a mixtape series entitled 'The Soul of The Movement'. This series will include 3 mixtapes, 2 of which will be available online for FREE download. MilkDrop now is now rookie to performing live. While logging 14 shows in the latter half of 2005 Milk had just begun to made his mark on the Kansas City scene. Milk upped the ante a bit by doing 18 shows in 2006, including shows in Kansas City, San Antonio and Las Vegas. 2007 will mark the return of MilkDrop, hoping to spark the return of lyricists everywhere to the forefront of hip hop.
