Like a person who has a photographic memory, Camille! has an uncanny ability to recall melodies and lyrics as well as create them. When she was only five years old she shocked her mother and older siblings by singing a tune after hearing it only once on the radio. The song was by the late, great Eartha Kitt.

Both the discerning and casual listener will find that songs written by Camille! may resonate with their own life experiences or emotions on a personal level. Her vocal delivery is often reminiscent of the sultry singers of the film noir era, but with a modern Americana bent. "You're So La Dee Dah" is an example of her whimsical Pop music side but she still has the scat singing ability of jazz and blues singers.
