简介
Wayde Blair was born and raised in the East Kentucky coalfields just down the road from cousin Loretta Lynn's "Coal miner's daughter's cabin." His first 21 years were spent absorbing Appalachian mountain music, listening to and playing rural Bluegrass along with a taste of Haggard-tonk rock'n'roll filtered through southern country blues. He moved to Berkeley in the Fall of '69 to catch the tail-end of the Summer of Love. Then he started to write his own neo-traditional songs. Now he's a genuine Americana troubadour and his songs have been published and heard in many countries around the world. On this live recording Wayde is joined by his partner and Fiddler, Sue Draheim. Over the years Sue has performed and recorded with some of the best. A few being Richard Thompson, John Renbourn, Maria Muldaur, and The Any Old Time String Band. Sue and Wayde are now performing as a duo and live in Kentucky.
