Often compared to Eva Cassidy, Norah Jones and Bonnie Raitt, Kristen's voice rings true and seems to sing straight to you. Her style, influenced by her love of Motown, Joni Mitchell and Bill Withers and her classical upbringing has a near-universal appeal. Have grandkids? They'll love it. Have grandparents? They'll sing along.

From Baltimore to Los Angeles, by way of Route 40, Kristen Toedtman sings and plays in both cities. A singer/songwriter, session singer and choir leader in Los Angeles, she is a founding member of the Baltimore Afrobeat Society and regularly returns to collaborate with Baltimore musicians. Kristen sings with her band at the Hotel Cafe & Room 5 in LA, appears regularly with The Brendan Hines and sings in the Los Angeles Master Chorale with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl and Disney Hall. She has begun recording music for her 2nd release, a double EP (Balto // LA) scheduled to be out in 2014.
