简介
The first eight tracks of this album are the Spanish romantic works by Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909), which has become a tradition to guitarists. Since Albeniz's time, many editions have been arranged for guitar by talented arrangers like Francisco Tarrega, Miguel Llobet, and Severino Garcia Fortea. Here is also another rendition for solo guitar. 1- Asturias - Leyenda (from Suite Espanola Op.47) Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) 2- Angustia - Romanza Sin Palabras Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) 3- Zortzico (from Espana, Op. 165) Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) 4- Malaguena (from Espana, Op. 165) Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) 5- Puerta de Tierra (from Recuerdos de Viaje, Op.71) Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) 6- Aragon (from Suite Espanola Op.47) Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) 7- Capricho Catalan (from Espana, Op. 165) Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) 8- Autumn Waltz Theme (from L'Automne-Valse, Op. 170) Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909) In the next four tracks, Behzad Mirkhani explores the music of Russia, Hungary, France and Mexico during the Romantic-Era to the early Twentieth Century. 9- Swan Lake Theme and Waltz (from the Swan Lake, Op.20) Pyotr Ilich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) 10- Rakoczi March (Marche de Rakoczi from Le damnation de Faust) Hector Berlioz (1803-1869) 11- The Swan (Le Cygne from Le Carnaval des Animaux) Camille Saint-Saens (1835-1921) 12- Scherzino Mexicano Manuel Ponce (1882-1948) The final five tracks are his guitar arrangements of catchy melodies from his home land, Iran. These themes are exceedingly meditative and match the sound of the nylon string guitar. 13- Yellow Bride (Sari Gelin) Northern Middle Eastern Folk 14- Golnar Majid Vafadar (1912-1975) 15- You Forgot Me (Bordi Az Yadam) Mostafa Gorginzadeh (1922-2009) 16- The Engaging Spring (Bahareh Delneshin) Ruhollah Khaleghi (1906-1965) 17- The Autumn of love (Khazaneh Eshgh) Javad Badizadeh (1902-1979)
