简介

Musicians - Bill Robinson: Hammered Dulcimer Ed Cosner: Fiddle Greg Ferguson: Guitar & Vocal Merle Lawson: Banjo Ann Robinson: Hammered Dulcimer (Son Shine) Jill Stargardt: Bass Fiddle & Vocal Down on The Farm - This song reminds me of our farm in Fulton County, Illinois. It was our son, Marty's favorite place to go, and it is a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Think of Me "as often as I think of you" was written by me. I played this tune at my induction into the Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame in 2006 in lieu of a speech. Tennessee Waltz/Amazing Grace/I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry - Three Popular Songs we have combined for a medley of classics Rocky Top - This song features Greg Ferguson and Jill Stargardt on vocals Beaumont Rag - A Bluegrass favorite. We "tweaked" it a bit. Florida Blues - I learned this tune from my friend and fellow dulcimer player, Paul Van Arsdale. Angels We Have Heard on High - Since recording our Christmas CD, this beautiful song has been incorporated into our performances throughout the year. Son Shine - I wrote this song for our son, Marty, who left us much to soon. My wife, Ann, accompanies me on her hammered dulcimer. America the Beautiful/Battle Hymn of the Republic/Dixie - These patriotic songs remind us of the past, the present, and how blessed we are to live in the United States of America. Stepstone - Jill proudly claims she "stole" this song from her niece, Molly Tuttle, who is an up and coming bluegrass star. She sings it "just like Molly does." Archie Menzie's Reel - Another great song I learned from Paul Van Arsdale Simple Gifts/Bells of St. Mary - Beautifully blended together, these songs of faith are popular among our audiences. 12th Street Rag - My latest "favorite", this song represents how the dulcimer can be adapted to many styles of music.
