For fans of hard electronica, Funkstörung is your ticket home. Not much is known about Funkstorung other than the obvious fact that he/she is a producer. A reclusive DJ perhaps? This album has it all as far as touching base with almost every type of dance music possible. Hard beats, jazzy tempos, and even some ambient moments. Abrasive and pummeling at times, Funkstorung keeps the dancefloor bouncing. Fans of hip-hop will want to note the remixed Wu-Tang track titled "Reunixed." "Reunixed" is a caustic reworking of the Wu-Tang's "Reunited" off Wu-Tang Forever. If the mellow vibe is what your trying to achieve, than this disc should be put on the back burner. Only one track here captures a somewhat trance-like state with the Bjork remix "All is Full of Love" that verges on the exquisite. Funkstörung unfortunately clocks in at only thirty minutes. If you're looking to get the party started, Funkstörung needs to be on your wheels of steel.
