Liz Mandeville was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2013. Her credits include 4 all original CD's for Earwig Music Co and two chart topping CD's for her own Blue Kitty Music imprint. In addition to songwriting and singing, Liz plays electric and acoustic guitar, washboard & porch-board. She's performed at festivals and music venues all over the world, played on 3 continents in 11 different countries over the past 3 decades and people say she just keeps getting better. Liz is also a journalist for www.ChicagoBluesGuide.com where she writes the column "Inside the Blues" and she's a community DJ for WNUR.org' Sunday Blues Show. She holds a BA in music from Chicago's Columbia College where she did extensive research into American music, blues history and business and women's contribution to the blues. Liz uses this knowledge to present Blues In the Schools programs and workshops at festivals.
