"Shades of Blue" was recorded direct to stereo two-track in 1995 and enjoyed a very limited release at that time. This 2017 remastered version retains all the spontaneity of the original, but significantly reduces ancillary noise, resulting in a more enjoyable listening experience. Set and recorded as a "chamber music" jazz recital, the music here is subtle and intended for a focused concert audience.

This was the first recording Craig Fraedrich and Tony Nalker did together and was the impetus for the formation of the group "Trilogy" with the addition of vocalist Christal Rheams. Trilogy's most recent recording, the 2017 release "Craig Fraedrich with Trilogy and Friends - All Through The Night" is currently available directly from Summit Records as well as most other outlets.
