Thugs Holyday is the Amadou Diallo story, it is the Abner Louima story, the Timothy Stansbury Jr. story, the Patrick Bailey story, and now the Sean Bell story. Thugs Holyday is Black story and history, it is me, it is you, Thugs Holyday represent the Hood that is hurting everyday. How many more shots, when will you wake up? I am not angry, but yet upset. I wrote it before it happenned, I carry it over to "Past and Present" in songs like "My own blood" "my hood, my love, my life" "Thugs Holidy" and also "Its ok" still you ignored me. Thugs Holyday is the tears that i share for each brother who is wrongly locked down, or killed by the gang called NYPD, a police officer in New York is just another word for hit-man or murderer. How much blood must be spill when Mumia is now on deathrow for accusing of shooting a police officer in philadelphia, when a young brother is on trial for shooting 2 cops last year in staten island, their blood is precious, but ours is not, its just water running through, shoot us dwon like animals. Thugs Holyday addresses our problems, own it this holiday and live what you hear, I write what I feel and see coming from the road ahead. This is the only way i know how to contribute and let it be heard, can you help spread the news and contribute to a positive cause.
