简介
SQware provide a 2-track EP, "I Once Believed" which discloses their taste for melodic techno and tech-house. The opening track, "I Once Believed", puts a large emphasis on oneiric sensations with a spellbinding development. The second one, "La Nuit" still explores dreamlike atmospheres until a final burst of pads and bleeps which adds a little cosmic feel to it. --- About SQware: SQware is the meeting of Yannick & Jean-Baptiste, who share a love for bewitching melodies, worship ultra-synthetic loops, groovy beats and adore melancholic as well as dark atmospheres. They joined forces in order to materialize their musical desires in 2005, and had their first EP, "Squeeze It to the Last Drop", released on Broque in 2008 (supported, amongst others, by Troy Pierce). In 2010, they came back on Broque's "Minikollektion" compilation with a track, "Hyde", which gained support from top-notch DJ's such as Laurent Garnier - who played it in his weekly radio broadcast - or Tony Rohr who describe the tune as "a ****ing bad-a** piece of electronica". Later that year, their second EP, "Depart" came out on Process recordings and received positive feedback from various artists such as Laurent Garnier, Arnaud Rebotini, Orde Meikle (Slam) or Corrugated Tunnel.
