eYe took my time with the official release of this album. Every song has it's own story behind the lyrics and composition. U.S. of Us for instance often gets mistaken for a very sexy song - well, it is sexy, but if one listens to the words with more attention one will hear the controversy. This track is very personal. It was written during an abusive relationship. Ironically eYe wrote Loving You (Was Nothing Good) way before U.S. of Us and the fact that it landed on heavy rotation in New Jersey in 2008 through MC Ronnie Rane who at the time started his own show on a radio station. He loved the demo I gave him when we met during Merlino's music video shoot in LA and played it when he was on Air. Apparently eYe gained some fans through the airtime and people started calling for the song eYe had forgotten about. Listening to my own song in the radio that was telling me what I was supposed to do gave me the strength to keep writing lyrics. Thirsty Rhythm is that kind of song. It's sexy and has a message: When you are on the right track, don't stop going! My love goes to the great producer and talent Lou Geniuz, who created some of this material with me in his studio in the middle of the Swiss Alps and Diego Morales, with whom I spent some nights in the basement studio. Thanks to Cameron Graves for 4 years of a memory that eYe will always keep. Music holds hearts together that push each other away and some of the songs of this album have so much truth and emotions captured in their poetry that eYe'd like to ask the new listener to close your eyes and listen carefully to what your hear. eYe breaths. eYe is alive. eYe is every day ready to die. eYe walks. eYe talks. eYe lives every second to not get lost. eYe loves. eYe cries. eYe fights every moment for that smile.
