Borrowing inspiration from folk, soul, roots and reggae Jesse Mitchell’s style is elegant and comfy. Whether performing solo, with the band or accompanied by the cello, flute or djembé, it's always a memorable and heart-warming show. Jesse Mitchell released his debut EP 'The Twilight' in June 2006. After venturing through Latin America, he returned to Melbourne in 2007 singing tender tales of love, longing, pristine shores, and foreign cultures. He performed at some of Melbourne's finest venues including Manchester Lane, Spencers Live, Brunswick Hotel, Evelyn Hotel, the late Hard Rock Café, The Edinburgh Castle, The Barwon Club, Ruby's Lounge and many more. He performed alongside Nick Barker, Bomba, and The Benson Campaign. In 2008, Jesse featured on the FreezaCentral compilation Album “Laces and Lyrics” and appeared as a guest artist of SYN’s ‘1700’ TV show.
