Since Jim Laslett produced his first song ‘Déjà vu’ in 1997 he has been both writing and performing as a Singer / Songwriter continuously. His musical journey has included many live performances, the writing and production of two albums and appearances on radio. Prior to Jim’s first album he was performing live at numerous festivals as well as touring in France, Ireland and the USA. Most recently, Jim Laslett has once again turned the spotlight on himself by releasing his third album as a solo artist. The recording, ‘Hey Lord’ includes ten impulsive, bold and soulful tunes that keep the backing soft, placing Robin Burrows sensual guitar playing and Phil Laslett’s drumming steadily in the mix. In addition to playing acoustic guitar, Jim is also singing lead and backing vocals on this new album.
