This song, "Dragons song " was inspired after the completion of an epic restoration of an antique Japanese Koto.

No sooner were the strings settled and ideas and sentiment were flowing. Before long a new composition. And when played brought the old Koto to life for the first time in nearly 200yrs. Playing this composition for the first time and recording it, " El Naturale" was a real moment. This track is dedicated to the instrument and is the first of a selection of compositions presently being assembled for later release as part of a future album, all to be played on this awesome instrument.

This Koto will begin a tour in the near future to showcase not only its wonderful sound and presence, but also its former life and subsequent restoration to the present. Research tells that it took 1000 days to craft this instrument. Hand tools and candle light, cross legged on the floor. My hope is that future compositions reflect the magnificence of this wonderful entity and the true skill and feeling of the craftsman who made her.
