Matt Zimmerman is a Baltimore based Singer-Songwriter/Producer/ Engineer. His style covers a wide sonic range, from mellow, woodsy, nature oriented harmonic rock (a la pet sounds) to all out full bore space prog. A Multi-instrumentalist, he uses a wide range of tools in his sonic exploration, inviting the listener to join him on a trip through the past and future, in a dimension not too far from our own. One song may showcase more of a pure rock aesthetic (acoustic guitar, bass, 2 part interwoven vocal harmonies), while other songs call for electric guitars, full on drums, or a variety of retro-analog synth sounds, with all imaginable combination's in between. In the studio Matt is a bit of a control freak, and prefers to play each part himself. In the Live setting Matt is known to collaborate with various guest artists, occasionally doing a few stripped down solo performances with piano, guitar, and vocals.
