Returning home for our 16th and final release of the year, we are delighted to bring you a 3 track-er from the fresh talented duo Sound Out. We are delighted to have the boys on board for their debut release! Sound Out are heavily inspired by the sounds of the past; classic house and rave to name a few, but their production techniques are truely modern. Not afraid to try something new, and using elements of different styles while firmly rooted in the house scene, Sound Out are the perfect duo for DFT016

The aptly named 'Gotta Be Acid' is the title track to the release and works in a catchy vocal sample over the some twisted synths and acid basslines. 'Beaming' is a bumpy house tune with just enough old school stabs and jacking beats to convince us of a 90's revival. Last but not least 'Make A Break' is an intense breakbeat-infused techy roller, that works brilliantly as a DJ tool. Be sure to give this a work out and add some rolling vibes to a strict 4-4 set.
