Well I know it's often said that a package has something for everyone but I think on this Phunky Rabbit production we really do. Rampus (Bjarne Sorum) teams up with Jenny Cruz from New York City for a Disco House stomper of a track. You all know Bjarne from when he was at the label and here his production is top notch. It is in his Disco House style and there are plenty of elements 'happening' in this track. Jenny Cruz is also known to the label and her track with Eddie (Eaze) Coleman (who also writes all Jens lyrics by the way), Next To You, is already getting great support. This time Jenny sings solo and provides a really soulful feel throughout keeping a strong hook coming in and out of the song. On the remixes we really do have a mix for you not only in styles but also mixing my established 'go to' remixers with some new names to the label. First up we have a progressive house style remix from Sandro Valentino. Sandro has reached new levels this year and just gets better and better all the time. Looking forward to his work with Debbie Sharp coming soon on the label as well. Next up we welcome greek house producers H@K to the team. They are causing a big noise on the house scene at the moment working for numerous labels. Here their Essential Mix is a really well worked Nu-Disco affair and it works so well with Jenny's vocals. I would expect to be hearing this on a lot of Nu-Disco DJ mixes very soon as well as hitting the genre charts. Next we have a remix by a very good friend of mine, Carlo Fanni. Carlo has done a few remixes for me as well as my first ever release at Solar Sounds. Here he gives us a Soulful House beauty. I am loving the big lush chords in this and coupled with his old skool/new skool blend of beats he has created a very catchy version in his own style. For the next remix I welcome another newcomer to the team from Russia called Paolo Mixato. His version is a Deep House style mix which I am absolutely loving! I have a feeling this will be hitting the Deep House charts heavily and will cause a big stir up in the genre's circles. He has got a wicked deep vibe going on this using the vocal as a dub. Finally we have two mixes from the man himself Eddie (Eaze) Coleman going under his BK (Brooklyn) guise here. They are both in an old skool Disco House style, the first, Rhythm Mix, is a really cool disco track whilst the second, Tech Mix, uses a solid old skool synth that really takes hold.
