Ernie Fraser is a native of Cape Breton Island with family roots in Meat Cove and Gabarus. Ernie played as a professional guitarist for a number of years before taking on the fiddle and then following in the footsteps of his grandfather - "Little Simon Fraser". The addition of a few original compositions to the CD is a nice touch which really captures the spirit of Cape Breton.
