A classically trained guitarist at the tender age of 10,

Erin already had years of musical experience under her belt when she began co-hosting a music television show in her native Washington state. The show gained her recognition and accolades, but more importantly whet that appetite for performance. After frequenting open mic nights at poetry lounges around Los Angeles, Erin began to realize there were songs in her words. She set about fusing her skills on the guitar, with her soulful poetry and the rest, as they say, is history. Currently promoting her debut album, she wrote or co-wrote every song -- and it's in stores now. Erin's style blends classical guitar, with a neo-soul sensibility and poetic lyrics. "I wanted to bring genuine musicality back to music," she explains when asked about some of her choices on the album. "There is an entire generation of young people who might only hear samples of what once was original in terms of music ... it's time to expand their horizons."
