CHRISTOPHER BARNETT (Composer) worked on British Top 40 chart music before immersing himself in jazz, ethnic and classical music in London UK and Ohio US, completing his bachelor and master degrees in composition, ethnomusicology and film composition. In 2000, Chris won an LCMM award, with his piano sonata dedicated to the late Princess Diana, which was published as a grade 8 piece - and included alongside the work of Beethoven, Handel, Haydn, Prokofiev and others. He has scored music for numerous film, documentary, theatre, concert and commercial productions, particularly those with foreign themes - Albanian, Indian, Arabic, Turkish and Chinese. In 2005, he provided additional music for the award winning, BAFTA nominated Michael Winterbottom feature "Tristram Shandy: A Cock & Bull Story", starring Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon, Gillian Anderson and Stephen Fry.
