Life Incorporated is an album that marks a turning point for Asbestos musically. In 2007, following the release of our last album “Punk is Freedom,” we began to branch out into progressive modes of composition. Starting with the 5th and title track “Life Incorporated,” we began experimenting with our Progressive Punk/Linear Rock sound that defines Asbestos music today.

The purpose of this album, from a lyrical standpoint, is to expose the dangers of greed. Whether it’s the greed of lawyers and politicians discussed by “Liability” (track 2) or of religious fanatics twisting the word of God for their own selfish gains in “Jesus Was No Commando” (track 9) we express our opinion that greed is one of the worst flaws of humanity. We hope that our words will encourage you to look at the effects of greed in your life and cause you to become more aware of the dangers of greed. We hope our music will intrigue, entertain, and enthrall you as well as redefine your idea of rock music in general. Above all else, we hope this album was worth the 6 year wait (whoops) and that you enjoy listening to this album as much as we enjoyed creating it.
