Fireweed Flutes is based in Anchorage Alaska and have been playing since 2009. The four members play piccolo, C flute, Alto flute, and bass flute which gives them a very rich sound. Their musical styles include contemporary arrangements of Celtic, Latin, jazz, folk, classical, lyrical, and holiday. They are not your typical flute quartet in many ways due to their selection of music including the Beatles, show tunes, patriotic and much more..
