Kadir Yucel (1900) and Brian Cassidy (Origami in the House of Flying Carpets) combine talents to bring you "The Silent Treatment". This project began with a collection of Yucel's 8-track reel to reel recordings transferred into Pro Tools for editing and overdubbing. With Yucel's unique approach to keyboards and guitar along with Cassidy's funky bass and guitar they construct unconventional pieces from the Industrial rhythms of "Autumn in August" to the 70's Soul influenced "Ernesto" to the dark groove of "V6". Catchy rhythms draw you in while multiple listens reveal the complex layers of sounds used to produce this fine effort.
