John Vosel started playing the local Pittsburgh clubs as early as the late 60's and later backed up gold recording artists like the Crystals and performed with Chubby Checker (the Twist) and many other pop icons. He worked with many musicians and songwriters, like Mike Frenchik, composer of Lionel Richie's 'Dancing On The Ceiling' John had a long time position at the world famous Troubadour Night Club in Los Angeles where he rubbed elbows with everyone from members on the 'Byrds' to 'Van Halen'. In Los Angeles, John often performed with insightful composer 'Tim Hardin' ('If I Were A Carpenter', 'Reason To Believe') and the 'Lovin' Spoonfuls' tremendously successful John Sebastian. John really sharpened his songwriting skills working with these icons of American music and being a member of the Los Angeles Songwriters Showcase. His songs have been featured on NBC's Today Show as well as ESPN. John introduced his most favorable Bubble Gum CD. 'Bubble Gum Pop' for all the light hearted pop fans.
