Akord is one of the most successful and quoted music band in Moldova. The artistic band began its career on 4 December 2006 at the initiative of those who were the pillars and the soul of the band. These people are Igor Sîrbu and Igor Stribiţchi, good friends, talented and ingenious artists. They had the desire to make good music. The ambition and the work helped them to climb slowly but surely the steps of local showbiz. Initially, the band included three members: Igor Sîrbu, Igor Stribițchi and Victor Balan. In this formula, the boys have released their first song "Unde-i dragostea". Boys have worked with the company Music Master. The Akord band`s launch took place on the stage of the National Palace, Potcoava de Aur concert 2006. In June 2007, Victor Balan left the band and in August, the band was complemented by Victor Răilean. Together, the boys performed songs that were in the local charts and participated in numerous concerts and cultural events. Also the artists released their first video for the song "În ochii mei." From autumn 2008 the band began a beautiful collaboration with Iurie Badicu, their new manager. The Literary Musical Company "Hit Factory", under the patronage of Mr. Genadie Boleacu. He is supporting the successful musical career of the band. In this structure the boys began a new page of their artistic career. 2008 was a great year for the Akord band. Three beautiful voices have had many artistic events and won many national and international awards, one of which was the first mention at the "George Grigoriu" contest in Braila, where the boys were appreciated by Mirabela Dauer singer. In December 2008, Akord had played at a live concert at the National Palace, the event released their first album entitled "Cerul care ne-a unit". The album contains 11 tracks. From this album are known the hits "Maria", "Ochii tăi," "Alină-mă", "Doar tu", etc.. At the event, the band invited the singer Mihai Traistariu and the Talisman band from România, with a recital in their show. The Akord band's talent is noticed and their work is appreciated, in this way the songs held their first position on the national charts. The band became one of the most popular brands of domestic music. Since June 2010, the band was in the duet formula, composed by Igor Sîrbu and Igor Stribiţchi. In autumn 2010, the band released a new hit, the song ”Mă doare”. This song held the top positions for months on TV and radio charts. Two months later, the band launched a new hit "Cînd te visam", in collaboration with Cristina Croitoru. In 2011 Igor Stribiţchi and Igor Sîrbu had an eventful year. They appeared on the stage with Teleradio Moldova Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Gheorghe Mustea, in his 60 years anniversary show. Soon, the Maestro Eugen Doga has invited the band to his birthday concert.
