Promised Eden's sophomore effort is every bit as hard hitting as it's predecessor, "Guilt." The songs were put together by the band to tell a story about the inability for some to let go of the past. From the edgy riffs of "Letting Go" to the soft, commercial sounds of "Awakened," there is something here for everyone. "I Get Down" is a unique, Beatlesque type song that leaves the listener wanting more.
