Spike Polite https://www.reverbnation.com/sewage4 wrote this song "Department of Corrections" from the tail end of Post release Supervision experience. Living in Washington Heights working in the jail scenes on GOTHAM-stage 2 Steiner Studios-and waiting to tour Italy with Professional Punkers caused Spike to remember his harder times of the D.O.C. Using a Jackson flying v guitar, a Marshall mg100 amp, and memories of the corrupt system, Spike easily wrote this tune in a week. After four years of geographical limitations imposed on him by parole were finally lifted in early January 2015, Spike set up a band and booked a tour of Italy. There, Ruggero Delcuratolo recorded Spike's song Department of Corrections at Real Sound Studio http://www.real-sound.it/ in Milan in between concerts and video shoots.
