Robert Michael and Silence spanned a 20 year stretch from the 90's into mid 2000's where they fused metal and groove with blues and acoustic styles. Their music morphed over the years to cover many styles and generations of music which may appeal to a wide rage of likes.

As music changed, they changed with it ranging in styles from Queensryche to goo goo dolls. they continued to define themselves by adapting what they did to the changing musical times.
