Zuri wrote this love song as it was something she felt she wanted in her life. She has put it out there musically and lyrically to the Universe for all to enjoy! In 2010 a single titled, “No Limits.” Those who really know me know how I feel about discrimination on any level be it race, age, weight, looks, disabilities, gender choice, etc. So I’m representing all, from children to those 100 plus, by having written a song denouncing the Anti-isms madness titled, “No Limits.” A great man once said, “‘If we don’t stand for something we will fall for anything” Stand with me, Stand for whats right, We must stay mindful that we can do anything we aspire to do. This single was released on Rasiah Records. This is Zuri’s first CD on Rasiah Records in 2005 Zuri is a prolific singer, songwriter who takes the listener on an audio voyage through heart felt emotions from a woman’s perspective. As an actress she done voice over work, she’s has appeared in countless television commercials/shows, films and videos . In 2001 Zuri penned a song on the Grammy Nominated “Gotta Get the Groove back” CD by the late great Johnnie Taylor along with singing all of the background, Zuri has sang all background parts on several Malaco artist’s projects. She’s also the voice on the current number one Southern Soul duet with Johnnie Taylor’s son Floyd Taylor, titled “Baby I’ve Changed” written by Rich Cason and Zuri, produced by Rich Cason. Zuri also has a motivational tee shirt and tank top line (Zuriology) and a novel that publishers are bidding for.
