简介
"We Are Large" is my second CD as a leader. It has eleven original tracks that present my unique take on what jazz is. What does that mean? In today's music world, labels get thrown around all the time. It is hard to keep up, so to "give it to you straight" my music emphasizes melody, groove and communication. Four reasons why you should care: 1) you get to hear "Hill Country", my Salute to the year I spent in Houston, TX. 2) check out Adam, Nate, Tim, and Evan (Bios below). 3) someone once said my music had personality (See review). 4) someone also once said "you done wrong by me my man" (See website). I hope you enjoy the sample tracks. Below is some bio information. Thanks for stopping. Damon DAMON ZICK (SAXOPHONE) was born and raised in Seattle before heading to the East Coast in 1993. He spent four years studying at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York where he studied saxophone, jazz and composition before heading south to Miami Beach to join the New World Symphony.
