Kacy Davis, born in The Hague in the Netherlands as Cornelis Rietveld, is a 39 year old multi-talented musician with a warm and clear unique sound. He has written and produced songs for several artists in several countries like Denmark, the Netherlands, and even in the US and received credits for selling golden and platinum albums as a songwriter and producer. Kacy is in the middle of his Visa approval for becoming a US citizen because that’s what he always wanted, to perform and live in the US. He already started performing on stage when he was 12 years old, singing songs from one of his idols and for that same idol writing about 15 years later seven songs. He scored, as a sixteen year old kid 2 hits and became a child star. And after that he developed himself more into song writing, arranging and producing, which ended up in writing for famous artists. It was his mentor that told him to start performing his own songs because he not only has a superb voice, he also writes great songs. Now after a few years of looking for and writing the right songs, he finally found the right balance, what ended up in 14 brand new songs which will be released the beginning of 2009 on the album “Hopes and Dreams”. From the evergreen ballad “Don’t turn your back on me” until the commercial pop song "1 minute 4 ya luv" and the unforgetable Pop/R&B song “Hopes and Dreams”, they all got catchy melodic lines. His first cd single " Hopes and Dreams" will be released together with a videoclip. Kacy’s saying: make sure the Universe is able to hear you when you play and sing the music you like with a smile.
