This song also features bass guitar extraordinaire Dwight Bailey. Born in Detroit, Dwight, Began playing drums at 6 and took up the electric bass at the age of 14. In his early years he played with many gospel groups and choirs. It wasn’t until his college years, at the Ohio State University, that he was inspired to learn more about jazz. He began to study the double bass and played in a jazz trio with classmates James Gaiters and Edwin Bayard. Today, he performs with the Vernon Hairston Trio, The Ken Weaver Quartet, Sarah Morrow, Wilbert Longmire and many other jazz and gospel artists.
