Five times in my life I have experienced a unique visitation from the Lord. In each instance, I was in the realm between asleep and awake, when I heard an audible voice speaking words that would prove to be a revelation concerning the future. During one of those times a couple years ago, I clearly heard the words, FIRSTHEARTS. I had never heard this phrase or seen it anywhere in print. I questioned the Holy Spirit about the meaning, and I clearly felt this deep impression, “This is the name to give the worship team at OCI.” What began as a three-member worship team has now become twenty-two singers and musicians whose hearts are focused on bringing you into the presence of God. Jesus warned the church at Ephesus that they had left their first love (Rev. 2:4). If you leave Christ, it is because your heart has grown cold. But if God has your heart, then he has all of you—body, soul, spirit, will, and emotions.
