yan Nealon, 22, is a singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Nealon, received his BA from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for Ethnomusicology-Jazz Studies in 2017. Nealon has studied under renowned jazz vocalist/pianist Michele Weir, along with James Newton - flautist/composer, Barbara Morrison - a renowned jazz/blues singer - and Ruth Price - a jazz singer and founder of the Jazz Bakery. Nealon has also studied under other artists such as Grammy Nominated jazz singer Gretchen Parlato, Pianist Tamir Hendelman, and Thomas James O'Leary who performed the title role of "The Phantom," from The Phantom of The Opera on Broadway. With the guidance provided from his teachers, Nealon has branched off into the professional world of music and is slowly but surely breaking through.
