Out on October 12th 2012, ‘Beacons’ is the second single to be released from the band’s widely acclaimed album ‘The Shallows’ which explores our relationships with technology. Following on in a similar sonic vein to ‘The Shallows’, the ‘Beacons EP’ sees I LIKE TRAINS further explore the dark possibilies that technology can open up for their music whilst simultaneously plotting humanity’s demise at its hands. Although still very much a product of our time, old habits die hard, the tracks echo with civilizations lost to progress. The additional EP tracks are the first fruits of the bands new studio.
