LAAG is a Dutch homonym for Layers & Low frequencies. Amsterdam based record label bringing out heartfelt electronic, experimental & industrial techno. Our first two track EP is Grijze Gebieden, which translates to Grey Areas. This is Raphael Acohens follow up EP after the greatly supported punk styled industrial techno release on Armatura Records. GRIJS sublimates the emotion of running through chaos. An almost uncontrollable sequence, organic delays and growling synthesizers on top of a hard driven bassdrum. ZWART tries to embrace one's inner darkness. Straight forward industrial styled techno, created with a minimalistic approach. Here, the guitar amps are being fed anything but guitars. 01/GRIJS Op zoek naar geluk rende ze naar het licht. Achtervolgd door illusies kon ze nergens lang staan. Ze was vertrokken uit het donker, maar had nooit haar ogen open gedaan. 02/ZWART Brak met zijn vrijheid en ging terug naar het duister. Wetende waar hij hoort, vrij om te zijn.
